Pro Chancellor loses Elder Sister.

The death has been announced of  Mrs Dolly Firibafa  Okoyen (nee Seiyefa), elder sister of the Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Niger Delta University, Mr Matthew B Seiyefa mni. which occurred on May 27, 2019. Consequence thereof, the University delegation of Principal Officers of the University led by the Vice Chancellor Prof Samuel G Edoumiekumo paid a condolence visit to the Pro Chancellor on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his Yenagoa residence.  He sympathized with and encouraged the bereaved Pro Chancellor to take heart that, his elder sister lived a fulfilled and God-fearing life. The Pro Chancellor in his remarks thanked the University delegation for the visit.  Burial rights for the late Mrs Dolly Firibafa Okyen has been scheduled for Friday June 21, 2019 at Peretorugbene Town, Ekeremor Local Government of bayelsa State at 9.00 am.
