NDU Holds 17th Matriculation Ceremony for New Students


The 17th Matriculation Ceremonies for the 2018/2019 Session took place on Saturday June 15 2019 at the New Lecture Theatre at the New Site,. Over 5,000 students matriculated.  In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Samuel G Edoumiekumo congratulated and welcomed the new students to what he calls a "great and enterprising University". He enumerated some of the heart-warming achievements by students of the University in various academic and sporting competitions and urged them to always promote the University in their conduct. He also advised them to study carefully all the laws and regulations (payment of fees / charges, registration, discipline, avoid cultism etc) constituting proper studentship. Finally, he reminded them the reason they are here and enjoined them to work hard to guarantee their success.  The ceremonies were attended by Principal Officers,  Deans of Faculties , families and friends  of the matriculating students.
