NDU Host Nigeria Political Association Conference

The Nigeria Political Association, South-South Zone held its 1st National Conference at the Niger Delta University from May 5 - 7 2019. The theme of the Conference was "Federalism, Democracy and Development in Nigeria´".  Papers were presented on the following sub-themes: Theoritical Issues on Federalism, Democracy and Development in Nigeria, Nigeria and the Federalism Question, Democracy and Development in Nigeria, Elections and Democracy in Nigeria, Federalism and Development in Nigeria,  Prof Eme Ekekwe of the University of Port Harcourt gave the keynote address while the Conference was declared open by the Vice Chancellor, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof Allen Agih.
