NDU Graduates 8th Set of Medical Doctors

New doctors have been urged to uphold the tenets and spirit of the Physicians Oath and avoid vices that would drag the Medical Profession into disrepute. While congratulating them for successfully completing their MBBS degree , they were also advised to work hard and improve on the basic training they have had, and make the profession and indeed the University proud. The advice was given by Prof (Mrs) Onyeye E Kunle-Olowu, former Chief Medical Director of Niger Delta Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri, in an Induction Lecture entitled "Gratification and Vices that may bring great discredit to the Medical Profession" delivered at the 2019 Medical Doctors Graduands Induction and Swearing-in Oaths and Honors  ceremony for the 8th set of  31 Medical Doctors that recently completed their studies at the College of Health Sciences, held on April 3 at the University Auditorium. The Induction Ceremonies included presentation of gift tokens and honors for outstanding graduands and the Physicians Oath-taking administered by the Registrar of the Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria (MDA) Dr  Sanusi.   .Congratulatory and goodwill messages were received  from the Vice Chancellor, Prof Samuel G  Edoumiekumo, Registrar, Mrs Effua Berepubo, Provost, College of Health Sciences, Commissioners for Education and Health amongst others.
