The university governing council at its 77th meeting approved the promotion of the under listed persons to the rank of professor and readers. They are
1) Dr. Clinton Wariboko, promoted to Reader in crop Science
2) Dr. Fiekumo Igebida Buseri promoted to professor of Hematology/Blood Transfusion science
3) Dr. Jasper Freeborn Nestor Abowei, promoted to professor of Biological sciences
4) Dr. Benjamin U. Ebeshi , Promoted to Reader in Phamaceutical and Medicinal chemistry

 The Vice-Chancellor ,Prof. Humphery A.Ogoni On behalf of the university Management cordially invites the entire University community to the 16th Inaugural lecture titled " Aids to Aids  : A Journey of Serendipity " to be presented by prof. Tubonye clement Harry on 12/08/2015 at the University Auditorium by 2pm.

The provisional list of prospective Corps Members for NYSC 2015 batch "B" mobilization is on display at the Main Auditorium Notice Board. prospective corps Members of the university are requested to check for their details on the list and report any correction or observation to the student affairs officer on or before Friday  August 15, 2015
