A professor of Educational Management at the Niger Delta University, Prof Allen Agih, has advocated for the rigorous implementation of Bloom's Taxonomy in our educational system (particularly at the foundation stages) to achieve the total development of the personality that would form the basis for national development. While all the three pillars of training the child's personality (cognitive, psychomotor and affective) are important he said, the affective domain, according to the erudite scholar is the most critical and important of them all; and regrettably the most neglected component.
